The Arms Pub Port Coquitlam Raises $10,000 for Port Coquitlam Community Foundation
Port Coquitlam, BC (February 11, 2024):
The Arms Pub and its patrons raised $10,000 for the PoCo Foundation through their annual Monday Night Football Pool. As a local PoCo Business, the Arms Pub embodies the motto ‘give where you live’ by generously supporting numerous Tri-Cities Charities. Recognizing the growing need in their community, they partnered with the Foundation to help fund much-needed programs and services right here in Port Coquitlam.
The PoCo Foundation is part of Canada’s extensive Community Foundations’ network. We work with donors and partners to create permanent endowment funds and use this income to support our community’s greatest needs through local charities. The original capital is endowed so that it generates income in perpetuity.
Anna Wilczewski, Executive Director of PoCo Foundation invites local businesses and individuals to learn more: “community foundations allow citizens to give back to their local communities in a way that builds a sustainable source of funding.
