PCCF Announces New Grant Application Process
Port Coquitlam, BC – December 1st, 2013 Founded in 2012, The Port Coquitlam Community Foundation is pleased to announce that effective today, pre-screening applications are being accepted for the first annual granting cycle. Applications are encouraged in, but not restricted to, project s in the areas of the arts, culture and heritage; assistance to the homeless; the environment and community safety; sports, fitness and recreation. The deadline for applications is midnight, January 15th 2014. The pre-screening application, procedure and process details are available at online at pocofoundation.com.
The PoCo Community Foundation was founded to assist in the creation of lasting legacies for our Community supported by the contributions of individuals and organizations as well as the City Of Port Coquitlam. The Foundation raises, manages and distributes funds for initiatives and programs that benefit the residents of Port Coquitlam. Our most recent success story is the creation of the PoCo Minor Lacrosse Bursary fund that has provided bursaries to young people who have contributed to lacrosse to assist them in furthering their education. All interested parties are encouraged to submit a pre-screening application for consideration.
