Growing up in Ontario, Sarah heard the calling of the mountains and moved to BC to attend the University of British Columbia in 2000. She became a resident of the wonderful municipality of Port Coquitlam in 2019.
She has always had a passion to give back to the communities in which she participates. Whether it be the companies that she has worked for in her 21-year insurance career (the majority at not-for-profit insurance companies), or giving back to her community via fundraising and volunteerism.
She is a driven, passionate, and enthusiastic individual with experience and exposure to fundraising and supporting not-for-profit groups and charities across BC. Whether it is through fundraising or generating awareness and providing knowledge, or being a board member, she has experienced great pride in supporting others, and finds it exhilarating working for the public good.
She thoroughly enjoys representing the PCCF and helping to support the community that she now calls home.
