The Port Coquitlam Community Foundation provides funding opportunities for charities, non-profits, organizations, collectives and individuals. Use this filter tool to determine which grant(s) you are eligible to apply for.

Please note, if you are a CRA registered charity, you are eligible for all grants listed below, with the exception of the Theatre Society Legacy Bursary. You must have a CRA Charitable number ending with RR0001 to apply as a charity.

Community Capital Projects Matching Grant

General
CYCLE: SPRING / DEADLINE: MARCH 1
ELIGIBILITY: Individuals/organizations based in Port Coquitlam - $1000-$10,000

For projects with direct benefits to the community that involve capital assets and new construction, renovation/expansion of community facilities or spaces such as sports fields, parks, environmental habitat, community recreation, arts and culture, streetscapes, etc

Community Grant

General
CYCLE: SPRING & FALL / DEADLINE: MARCH 15 & OCTOBER 2
ELIGIBILITY: CRA Registered Charities - up to $5000

For innovative projects serving the citizens of Port Coquitlam related to youth, seniors, homelessness, health and wellness, arts and culture, and organized sports.

Capacity Building Grant

Heritage, Arts & Culture
CYCLE: SPRING & FALL / DEADLINE: MARCH 1 & OCTOBER 2
ELIGIBILITY: Not-for-Profit organizations - up to $5000

For Port Coquitlam artists and board members or administrators of local arts, culture and heritage organizations, who have completed their basic training in the arts or arts administration (post-secondary or the equivalent in specialized training).

Community Initiatives Grant

CYCLE: SPRING & FALL / DEADLINE: MARCH 1 & OCTOBER 2
ELIGIBILITY: Individuals, groups, & collectives without not-for-profit status - up to $2500

For arts, culture and heritage initiatives/events that benefit Port Coquitlam residents.

Professional Development Grant

CYCLE: SPRING & FALL / DEADLINE: MARCH 1 & OCTOBER 2
ELIGIBILITY: Individual artists, administrators and board members or art organizations - up to $1000

For artists and administrators who have completed their basic training in the arts or arts administration (post-secondary or the equivalent in specialized training).

Projects Grant

CYCLE: SPRING & FALL / DEADLINE: MARCH 1 & OCTOBER 2
ELIGIBILITY: Not-for-Profit organizations - up to $5000

For arts, cultural and heritage projects, programs, events and festivals that take place in Port Coquitlam or are primarily focused on Port Coquitlam and its residents.

Theatre Society Legacy Fund Bursary

Heritage, Arts & Culture
CYCLE: SPRING / DEADLINE: MARCH 15
ELIGIBILITY: Students who have graduated or are graduating this year from a high school (public or private) in the Tri-Cities - up to $2000

For formal arts programs at a CRA-recognized post-secondary institution in Canada or internationally.

Theatre Society Legacy Fund Grant

For arts projects/programs within the Tri-Cities to encourage and support the development, enhancement, innovation or mentorship of a diverse variety of inclusive arts.
