Amanda has called the Tri-Cities home since 2010 and can’t imagine living anywhere else. Born in Ontario, she spent her early years in New Brunswick and the Northwest Territories before moving to BC in 2005 with her husband, Darren.
Amanda has worked in Human Resources since 2002, with a focus on leadership, building HR programs and practices, system implementations and guiding organizations through change. Today, she runs her own consulting practice—NextPhaseHR—where she helps organizations of all sizes and stages create culturally-aligned HR strategies and solutions.
She’s passionate about creating spaces where people feel seen, supported, and empowered to be themselves. Her values of authenticity, accountability, and connection guide both her work and community involvement.
Outside of work, you’ll often find Amanda adventuring with Darren and their rescue pups, Jack and Ben. She also loves riding her Harley (“Joy”), traveling, enjoying comedy shows, and spending quality time with friends.
