Candice was born in Port Coquitlam, and raised in the Lower Mainland before settling back in PoCo where she has lived proudly for more than two decades.
After completing a BA in Political Science and Communications at SFU, and working for a few years in public relations, she found her way to a career in tourism marketing where she has worked for over 25 years and currently holds a position as Director of Brand & Marketing.
Having volunteered with other charities including SHARE Society’s annual Imagine Event Planning Committee, and the Community Advisory Board of Cascade PBS, the opportunity to serve on the Port Coquitlam Community Foundation Board brings her volunteer work to the hometown that she loves.
During her leisure time, Candice enjoys walking Blakeburn Lagoons Park, cycling the PoCo Traboulay Trail and celebrating life with friends and family at community events and in the restaurants, breweries, parks and patios of the beautiful tri-cities.
