Anna has over 15 years’ experience in the non-profit sector and is passionate about giving back, both locally and overseas.
After obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations and Political Science (University of British Columbia), and her Master’s Degree in Humanitarian Assistance (Ruhr Universitat Bochum, Germany), she worked for the International Rescue Committee in Southeast Asia and Africa. Building on her experience working with international funders, Anna spent the next 10 years at Crossroads Hospice Society as the Senior Fund Development Officer helping to significantly increase revenue through grants, events and planned giving.
In her new role as Executive Director of the Port Coquitlam Community Foundation, Anna is looking forward to continuing the momentum of supporting and giving back to numerous local organizations through her passion for fundraising, community engagement and development.
Away from the office, you can find Anna outdoors; she enjoys golfing, skiing, hiking, and camping. When not in nature, she’s busy chasing her toddler twins, practicing yoga or relaxing at home.
