Through my career in for-profit, non-profit and government-owned organizations, I have developed strong leadership, management, and strategic thinking and communication skills.
As an experienced leader and a forward thinker I seek to remove obstacles and look for equitable outcomes. I served as a Citizen Advisor on the Port Coquitlam Transportation, Safety and Public Works Committee. I have been with the IWA-Forest Industry Pension and Long Term Disability Plans since 2001 and work with the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Investment Officer and the Boards of Trustees for both Plans. I am the immediate past President and Chair of the Board of Directors for an international association, serving on that Board for five years. A resident of Port Coquitlam since 1997, I am an active volunteer with the City of Port Coquitlam, United Way and other agencies.
For many years my volunteer board activities were focused within my professional field on a North American and international level. With the conclusion of my recent board service I felt it was time to focus locally. I have a lot of skills and energy that I would like to share in collaboration with others in community service as we work for the betterment of where we live and call home. The Port Coquitlam Community Foundation will allow me to bring it home and serve my community.
