Mike was born and raised in Port Coquitlam and has resided here most of his life. He spent several years in Alberta and found himself missing everything about PoCo. In 2012 he made the decision to move back and his only regret is that he didn’t do it sooner. Mike decided to join the PoCo Community Foundation Board of Directors because of his desire to give back to a community that has given him so much.
By day, Mike is a Chartered Professional Accountant and is currently VP of finance for a local technology company. By night, Mike is a partner in Tinhouse Brewing, one of PoCo’s breweries.
You can usually find Mike riding his bike around PoCo, or hiking one of the local trails. Of course, that’s usually topped off with a beer at one of the local breweries.
