Dean Washington and his wife Brenda have been married since 1987 and have raised their three daughters Megan, Riley and Courtney in Port Coquitlam and recently welcomed their grandson Louis in 2015.
Since 1994 he has owned and operated a local publishing company that produces automotive enthusiast magazines that are distributed across Canada.
Dean’s hobbies include playing the drums, golfing and distance running. He has completed several 21.1 km half marathons as well as the 42.2 km European Marathon in 2009 raising money in support of the Arthritis Foundation.
He is proud to serve as volunteer chairperson and lead organizer of the Downtown PoCo Car Show…the city`s largest event. As one of the co-founders 14 years ago, he’s enjoyed watching the event grow from a parking lot show to the extravaganza it is today sporting over 500 cars and 70,000 spectators on the streets of downtown Port Coquitlam.
