The Foundation supports non-profit organizations in arts & culture. We believe that the arts provide social, emotional and health benefits while culture enhances the quality of our life by preserving the unique identity of our community's citizens.
Who We Are
The Port Coquitlam Community Foundation (PCCF) helps people and businesses in our
city support charities doing innovative work that enhances – and touches – the lives of us all.
What We Do
The Port Coquitlam Community Foundation (PCCF) provides avenues for channeling the benevolence, compassion, and generosity of our citizens and stakeholders for the betterment of our community. We bring donors to the table as community builders and work closely with them to build long-lasting legacies and align their philanthropic visions with community needs.
Who We Support
PCCF takes an expansive and innovative approach to the way in which funds are granted. We will support a wide range of programs and projects within the community, including those that may not be commonly supported by other philanthropic entities. In support of both new and existing organizations and opportunities, PCCF will bring value to the city in key areas such as (but not limited to):
Message from the Mayor: A community foundation is a good fit for Port Coquitlam, given its abundant PoCo Pride and Spirit. Port Coquitlam is still a small town that people love and believe in and they want to contribute to its success. The Foundation gives them an opportunity to give back to their community.
What We Support
Homelessness is a huge social epidemic in the Lower Mainland. We support qualified non-profit organizations with innovative programs and initiatives focused on homelessness.
We support non-profit organizations that promote organized sports for kids, youth and adults in soccer, croquet, lacrosse, hockey, baseball and others. Teams must have a valid CRA number to be eligible for our grant programs.
Seniors make up 15% of the Port Coquitlam population. The Foundation supports programs that improve the quality of life for seniors.
